Five-Day Intensive Cybersecurity Training
We’re excited to announce the successful completion of our Five-Day Intensive Cybersecurity Training organized by Slamm Foundation in partnership with ISC2 and ARCC (NYA) at the Ashanti Regional Coordinating Council, Danyame-Kumasi.
This transformative program brought together passionate individuals eager to gain hands-on cybersecurity skills, earn global certification through ISC2 Certified in Cybersecurity, and develop a deeper understanding of how to protect digital systems and data in today’s connected world.
The training showcased our shared vision of building Ghana’s cybersecurity capacity and awareness as part of our Slamm1MillionCampaign.
Training Highlights
Day 1: The Journey Begins
Participants were introduced to the fundamentals of cybersecurity, understanding the importance of protecting Ghana’s growing digital infrastructure. The enthusiasm was palpable as everyone committed to building a safer digital nation.
Day 2: Deep Dive into Network Security
Day 2 explored network security fundamentals — firewalls, encryption, and intrusion detection systems. Participants engaged in live demonstrations on ethical hacking, secure password management, and identifying phishing attempts. Through these interactive sessions, learners gained practical skills to defend against real-world cyber threats.
Day 3: Hands-On Learning and Real-World Applications
Through simulations and real-world problem-solving, participants built confidence in protecting systems and data. Collaboration and curiosity fueled their learning under the Cyber Awareness Month initiative.
Day 4: Transformation in Action
Participants didn’t just learn—they experienced cybersecurity in action. From threat analysis to incident response, the training bridged theory with impactful real-world applications.
