Empowering Young Women in Tech
A Free Cybersecurity Training Program in Celebration of International Women’s Day
The Slamm Foundation, in proud collaboration with ISC², is launching a free Cybersecurity Training Program for young women across Ghana — celebrating the spirit of International Women’s Day this March.
This initiative is designed to close the gender gap in tech by giving young women the skills, confidence, and community to thrive in cybersecurity — one of the fastest-growing and most in-demand fields in the world.
Participants will gain hands-on knowledge in cyber safety, threat detection, digital identity protection, and ethical practices — all while connecting with industry professionals and becoming part of a supportive sisterhood in tech.

Why Young Women in Tech?

Bridging the STEM Gap
Women and girls remain underrepresented in STEM fields due to limited access to education, resources, and supportive environments. Cultural biases and lack of role models often deepen this gap. Our program tackles these barriers head-on with targeted training and mentorship.

Master Your IT Skills
We help young women overcome the fear of technology and build confidence through hands-on training in graphic design, coding, cybersecurity, and digital tools. Our goal: turn uncertainty into empowerment.

Tech as a Tool for Advancement
Technology should be a ladder — not a barrier. We teach women to use tech to their advantage: to start businesses, access remote work, grow professionally, and become leaders in innovation. The future of STEM must be inclusive, diverse, and driven by women.
Become a Mentor
Share your knowledge, experience, and time to help a young woman overcome fear, build confidence, and unlock her potential in tech.
Whether you're a cybersecurity professional, IT leader, or tech enthusiast — your guidance matters.
